The straight blade has a single fuller to each side to within eight inches (20.3 cm) of the sword point. In addition, the blade is decorated with an engraved floral design.
Members of the Royal Australian Armoured Corps, as well as Australian Army Aviation, wear the Calvalry Sword with black leather and silver fittings.
