The Corporal- Used to spread on the top of the middle of the altar, reaching to- but not overhanging the front edge. The consecration of the elements takes place on the Corporal. A large linen cloth with an embroidered cross close to the hem on the centre of one side. Approx. 20-22 inches square in size.
